With wireless bonded technology the chip can directly emit light from the top and the side with no wire bond casting shadows or creating uneven light distribution, providing 15% more light output.

Flip chip LED has five major advantages:

1) Electrodes on the flip chip directly contact the ceramic substrate, and omits the need for sapphire substrate used in heat dissipation. Therefore, the chip can be driven by high current.

2) Improvements in heat dissipation, which in turn extends chip lifetime.

3) The wire-bonding free (without wire-bond) flip chip can reduce defect risks during packaging and operations.
