SMD LED CHIP common specifications and parameters
0603, 0805, 1210, 3528, 5050 all refer to the commonly used light-emitting components on LED strips --- the size of the LED (English/Metric) is called, for example, 0603 refers to a length of 0.06 inches and a width of 0.03 inches . But note that the 3528 and 5050 units are metric.
The following is a detailed introduction of these specifications: 0603: Converted to metric system is 1608, which means that the length of the LED component is 1.6mm, and the width is 0.8mm. The industry abbreviation is 1608, and the English system is called 0603. 0805: Converted to the metric system is 2012, which means that the length of the LED component is 2.0mm and the width is 1.2mm. The industry abbreviation is 2112, and the British name is 0805. 1210: converted to metric is 3528, which means that the length of the LED component is 3.5mm and the width is 2.8mm. The industry abbreviation is 3528, and the British system is called 1210. 3528: This is the metric system, which means that the length of the LED component is 5.0mm and the width is 5.0mm. The industry abbreviation is 5050.
