Each company will weigh the considerations of wavelength, light efficiency and cost. At present, most manufacturers will choose chip products in the wavelength range of 260-280nm. Typical wavelength ranges are 265nm, 275nm and 280nm. In theory, 265nm is more destructive to cell molecular structure and has higher sterilization efficiency. However, because the electro-optical conversion efficiency is lower than that of longer wavelengths, there is no absolute winner for the current three wavelengths. At present, 275nm is mostly on the market. Prices in Japan and South Korea are slightly higher than domestic prices.
However, consumers also have to keep their eyes open, because the UVC-LED band is "invisible light", which means that it is difficult for users to feel its working status. Therefore, when designing products, terminal manufacturers will consider carrying a band around 405nm. (This band can emit faint purple light), which can help users perceive the working status. In this case, most of them are used to assist the left and right. The main sterilization wavelength is still 260-280nm; but at the same time, some non-mainstream manufacturers, It is possible to use 320-405nm to recharge indiscriminately, such as all UVA-LEDs are known as UVC-LEDs, or 30% UVC-LED doped with 70% UVA-LEDs.
