GMKJ Team Building Trip to Hailing Island: Honoring History, Embracing Nature, and Strengthening Team Spirit

To strengthen team cohesion, enrich employees' cultural life, and express appreciation for everyone's hard work, GMKJ (Guangmai Technology Co., Ltd.) organized a two-day summer team-building trip to the beautiful Hailing Island, Yangjiang, on June 27–28, 2026.
The journey combined history, culture, teamwork, and outdoor activities, creating unforgettable memories for every participant.
Honoring the Heroes of History
On the morning of the first day, the GMKJ team visited the Yangjiang Anti-Japanese War Heroes Memorial Monument. Standing before the monument, everyone paid tribute to the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives during China's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
The visit served as a meaningful reminder of the value of peace and the importance of perseverance, responsibility, and dedication-qualities that continue to inspire our work and daily lives.
A Relaxing Afternoon by the Sea
After the memorial visit, the team arrived at the beautiful beach of Hailing Island, where everyone enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities.
The afternoon was filled with laughter as colleagues gathered for a seaside barbecue, swimming, beach games, and sand activities. As evening arrived, the celebration continued with a lively KTV session where everyone shared songs, stories, and plenty of smiles.
The relaxing atmosphere and beautiful coastal scenery provided the perfect opportunity for colleagues from different departments to connect outside the workplace and strengthen friendships. The festivities continued late into the night, making it one of the highlights of the trip.
Experiencing the Life of Local Fishermen
On the second day, the team boarded a fishing boat and headed out to sea to experience traditional offshore fishing.
This unique activity gave everyone a firsthand understanding of the hard work and dedication of local fishermen. Although fishing is a demanding profession, it was an exciting and refreshing experience for many of us who were trying it for the first time.
After returning to shore, the fresh seafood we had caught was taken to a local restaurant, where it was prepared for lunch. Enjoying fish caught only hours earlier was truly a memorable culinary experience. The freshness and natural flavor of the seafood impressed everyone and became another unforgettable part of the journey.
Returning Home with Wonderful Memories
Following lunch, the team began the return trip from Yangjiang to Shenzhen. At around 7:00 PM, everyone arrived safely back in Shenzhen, bringing the two-day team-building event to a successful conclusion.
Growing Together Beyond the Workplace
