A few days ago, the National Chengdu Agricultural Science and Technology Center completed the acceptance check. The Science and Technology Center is located in the core area of Luxi Zhigu, Science City, Tianfu New District. It is a national scientific research platform jointly created by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Chengdu Municipal People's Government.
The project includes two phases in total. The first phase of the innovation core area will be completed in July 2020, and will be delivered in September. The first phase will be completed on December 31. It is expected to achieve full completion and acceptance in March this year.

According to reports, the National Chengdu Agricultural Science and Technology Center is planned to cover an area of 3,300 acres, with a total of 16 single buildings, composed of two sections, "One Center and One District". "One Heart" is the innovation core area, covering an area of 300 acres, which mainly includes smart urban agricultural landscape areas, living supporting landscape areas, talent supporting landscape areas, and biological scientific research landscape areas; "One District" is a modern agricultural technology integration demonstration area, covering an area of 300 acres. 3000 acres of land.
Among them, the vertical display center of the smart urban agricultural landscape area will place nearly 20-story plant display racks, using LED energy-saving light sources, multi-layer three-dimensional cultivation, perforated uniform air duct ventilation, intelligent control based on the Internet of things and other key technologies , To realize the robot fully automated picking and maintenance, and intelligently adjust the temperature, humidity and soil nutrient solution composition in the air.
Not only that, the "leaf vegetable factory" will use LED seedling plants for seedling breeding, robots for seedling planting, and shallow liquid flow planting beds for hydroponic vegetable production, realizing mechanization, automation and intelligence in the entire process from seeding to harvesting. It can significantly improve labor productivity. (Source: Chengdu Daily; compiled by LEDinside)
