LED silver alloy wire and LED copper alloy wire comparison
The advantages of silver wire compared to copper wire.
1) Applicable environment is wider
a The copper wire manufacturing process has strict requirements on equipment and production environment, while the silver wire manufacturing process is relatively loose.
b The copper wire manufacturing process requires high craftsmanship and technology, and the training period for operators and technicians is relatively long, and generally takes a long time to mature and stable; the silver wire manufacturing process only needs to modify some welding wire parameters simply.

2) Better product performance
a Metal silver conducts electricity and heat conduction better than gold, far better than copper, so the electrical performance of the product will be better.
3) Lower production cost
a The copper wire process requires equipment to install a protective gas system, and additional gas consumption costs need to be added every month; there is no such additional cost for the silver wire process.
b In the copper wire process, the life of the wedge is usually reduced by half or more than that of the gold wire; in the silver wire process, the life of the wedge is only slightly lower than that of the applicable gold wire.
c Copper wire manufacturing process, high welding wire parameters, large equipment loss, and increased equipment cost; the use of silver wire is equivalent to or slightly higher than gold wire

4) Higher production efficiency
a The copper wire process is complex, and the equipment MTBA (mean time between warnings) will be lower than that of the gold wire process, which will affect the production capacity; the silver wire process equipment MTBA is equivalent to the gold wire process and has the same capacity.
b Copper wire is easy to oxidize, causing FAB deformation and affecting yield; silver wire has a much higher oxidation resistance and does not have this drawback.
5) Higher customer favorability
a Silver and gold are both precious metals, and copper is a common metal. Therefore, copper wire products are generally less acceptable to customers than gold and silver wire products.
