The main parameters of LED desk lamps have the following 11 aspects:


1. Color temperature: conventional color temperature: warm white light (WW) 2700-3200k, natural light (NW) 4000-4500K, positive white light (PW) 6000-6500K, etc.;


2. Power: The general power of LED bulbs is below 12W.


3. Voltage and current: The commonly used voltages are 12v, 110v, 220v, 85v-265v. The current has a great influence on the light attenuation of the LED lamp, so the stability of the current is also very important. The lamp bead current and voltage should not be too large, otherwise it will seriously affect the life of the LED lamp.


4. Luminous efficiency: At present, the luminous efficiency of lamp beads using Taiwanese chips in China is basically around 100-130Lm/W.

5. Luminous flux: The luminous flux is mainly determined by the luminous efficiency and power of the LED bulb.


6. Illuminance: 250lx-500lx in the work area illuminated by the desk lamp, and the minimum illuminance should be ≥120lx.


7. Luminous decay: In popular terms, luminous decay is how much the brightness of the bulb lamp decreases after a certain period of use. The most important factors affecting the decay of LED lights are heat dissipation and current. If the current is unstable and the heat dissipation effect is poor, the light decay will be very serious.


8. Color difference: Color difference is the inconsistency of color temperature. Generally, warm white light (2700-3200k) will take the color difference into consideration. Warm white light is what we usually call yellow light


9. Color rendering: The degree to which the light source presents the color of the object itself is called color rendering, which is the degree of color fidelity. The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) has set the color rendering index of the sun to be 100. A light source with a high color rendering index (Ra) must be used to correctly express the original color of the material. The value is close to 100 and the color rendering is the best.

10. Glare: There are objects with extremely high brightness or strong brightness contrast in the field of view, which can cause visual discomfort called glare. Glare is an important factor affecting the quality of lighting.


11. Service life: LED lamps usually have a service life of more than 50,000 hours. The reason why the LED is durable is that it will not cause the problem of filament fusing. The LED will not stop functioning directly, but it will gradually degrade over time. Thermal energy is the main reason why LEDs stop functioning. In order to extend the service life of LEDs, it is necessary to reduce or dissipate the thermal energy generated by the LED chips.
