Recently, a customer asked our GMKJ LED, why is the ultraviolet light emitted by the UV LED curing machine blue? Today I will give you a brief introduction. We all know that the wavelength of the light source that the human eye can observe is concentrated between 780nm-400nm, and the color is composed of seven colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple). This part of the light source is called "visible light". The light source with a band between 10nm-400nm is an invisible light, which is what we often call the ultraviolet band. So the question is, why do we use uv led ultraviolet light source, but the color emitted is a blue light source that can be recognized by the naked eye? Next, let the editor give you a brief analysis.

Why does the light source produced by the UV LED curing machine show a blue light source?
The ultraviolet light source is mainly irradiated by the lamp beads on the head of the UV LED curing machine to produce a 365/395nm single-band ultraviolet light source. At the same time, it will also be accompanied by a small amount of visible light near the band. The 365/395nm single-band ultraviolet light source appears white, but after Air refraction or other optical reactions, the edge of the ultraviolet light source will produce a purple/blue spectrum of 435/545nm, so the light source emitted by the ultraviolet curing lamp looks dark blue.
When the UV LED curing machine is in use, it will produce blue-violet ultraviolet light. If there is no special need, try not to stay for a long time. If you need to work, you need to wear ultraviolet protective glasses to avoid ultraviolet radiation damage!
