On August 17, ams-OSRAM and 3D vision technology company Shilin 3D announced that the latest Aoralscan 3i dental digital impression machine of Shilin Dental, a subsidiary of Shilin, uses the small high-end OSLON® P1616 series of ams-OS. High-power infrared LEDs provide high-efficiency, low-energy consumption, and highly reliable auxiliary lighting for smart intraoral scanning.
New Aoralscan 3i dental digital impression machine
According to reports, Shinling Dental’s Aoralscan 3i oral digital impression instrument weighs only about 240 grams and can be held with one hand at any angle at 360°. It supports medical workers to efficiently collect and reliable intraoral 3D digital impressions, and uses near-infrared imaging technology to achieve seamless Radiation proximal dental caries detection has a series of software functions such as oral health examination report, orthodontic analogy, and smart comparison independently developed by Shining Dental.
The SFH 4170S infrared LED from ams Osram makes the compact design of the intraoral scanner possible. This infrared LED adopts an ultra-small high-quality ceramic package of 1.6×1.6mm, which greatly saves the design space of scanning equipment.
Thanks to infrared thin film chip technology and stacked crystal technology, this infrared LED has high power and efficiency, with a typical radiant flux of 1150mW. A single LED can meet the needs of small infrared supplementary light, while achieving low energy consumption and good heat dissipation. Effectively reduce the heat dissipation design pressure of the integrated circuit.
