On September 3, 2021, a set of Zhongke San’an UPLIFT unmanned vertical agricultural production system completed the final hydropower commissioning and was officially put into use in the plant factory of the Smart Agriculture Demonstration Garden in Yangling Agricultural High District, Shaanxi.
The plant factory covers an area of 2,400 square meters, and the planting shelf reaches 10 floors. The leafy vegetables grow healthy under the illumination of LED plant lights. In a clean workshop, through intelligent control of factors such as light, temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and nutrient solution, a stable and continuous supply of vegetables can be realized throughout the year.
In the entire UPLIFT unmanned planting production line, robots, shuttle trolleys, elevators and other equipment issue instructions through the computer’s intelligent calculations to operate stably, and realize unmanned planting, planting, management and other processes. Green leafy vegetables are produced in industrialized land.
According to reports, the unmanned vertical agricultural production system UPLIFT independently developed by Zhongke San’an can provide overall customized design according to the building space by using the three-dimensional warehouse-type cultivation shelf to maximize the planting area in the limited space and help planting To achieve the industrial-scale production of green leafy vegetables throughout the year.
At the same time, UPLIFT uses a new water-saving technology, so that 60% of the water can be produced into vegetables, and the remaining 40% can be recycled, making the farm use much less water than traditional agriculture, which is expected to help solve the drought and water shortage. The restriction of agriculture has promoted the development of agriculture in arid areas.
It is understood that after 3 years of research and development and testing, Zhongke Sanan has the ability to commercialize and operate various unmanned vertical agricultural systems, including small-scale plants covering an area of 1000-2000 square meters and a planting shelf with a height of 10 floors. ; Medium-sized 2000-4000 square meters, 16-storey planting shelf height; or large-scale 5000 square meters or more, can reach more than 20-storey planting shelf.
