How to choose good COB LED Chip for the LED lamps?
1. Determine the application scenarios of the lamps, such as whether the application is hotel lighting, catering lighting, or women's clothing store lighting. Each segment of the scene has different COB LED light source requirements for the lamps.
2. It is very important to determine the color temperature and color rendering index of the lamp, or the color point of the light. It is very important to determine the light color with the highest expressive power according to the specific application. For this, you can refer to the Oulant COB application guide to select the best suitable light. color.
3. Determine the power and light-emitting angle of the luminaire. The design of the application scene determines the layout and number of luminaires. The height and the illumination requirements of the ground and work surface determine the power and light-emitting angle of the luminaire.
4. After the above determination, it is the COB selection part. First, determine the COB corresponding to the required power and light-emitting angle of the lamp. A large angle is equipped with a large emitting surface COB; a small angle is equipped with a small emitting surface COB. For example, 9mm emitting surface COB is suitable for 30W below 15°, 6mm within 20W, 4mm within 15W, and 3mm within 10W. Among them, 4 mm and 3 mm can reach angles below 10°. If the application is a large angle, a 9mm emitting surface can be considered within 20W for an angle above 24°, a 12-14mm emitting surface can be considered for 30W, and a 19mm emitting surface can be considered the best for 40W-50W.
