How to choose COB LED power supply?

First, you need to give the parameters of the COB LED lamp, such as power, the number of lamp beads in series, current, voltage, etc., otherwise the power supply will not be selected, and it will not be necessary to select the power supply first and then match the LED lights. After all, the power of LED lights is confirmed according to the room size, brightness and other requirements.

The choice of LED power supply:

1. Current: The output current of the LED power supply should preferably be about 90% of the rated current of the LED lamp, and should not exceed the rated current of the LED lamp, otherwise the life of the LED lamp will drop sharply, and it should not be lower than 70% of the rated current of the LED lamp. The brightness of the LED lamp will be significantly reduced; the accuracy of the output current of the LED power supply is preferably within plus or minus 5%, the higher the accuracy, the better. The current accuracy is more than plus or minus 10%, and it is determined not to be used. Not only the brightness of the LED lamp is unstable, but the life span is also short.

 

2. Voltage: The output voltage range of the LED power supply should preferably reach 80%-120% of the rated voltage of the LED lamp. At this time, the efficiency and power factor are both high; the minimum value of the output voltage of the LED power supply must be less than 90% of the rated voltage of the LED lamp. The maximum value of the output voltage must be greater than 110%, otherwise the difference and inconsistency of the lamp bead parameters will cause the LED lamp to fail to light up. The wider the output voltage range of the LED power supply, the lower the efficiency and power factor, but it does not affect the use.

3. Others: other technical indicators such as efficiency, power factor, harmonic value, etc., home users do not need to consider.
