What is the max reflow temperature for the K1 1-3w high power leds?
There is two kinds of K1 high power leds right now in the LED market: 1. silicone lens packed, 2 plastic lens packed.
If your K1 leds in hand comes with silicone lens packed, you can do max 220C with the reflow temperature.
But please do the baking 65C with 8 hrs before reflow soldering.
If your K1 leds has plastic lens, you need to be careful. Because it has middle temperature plastic lens and also high temperature plastic lens.
If middle temperature plastic lens, the max temperature is 160-180C.
If high temperature plastic lens, the max temperature is 200C.
You need to consult with your LED supplier which type of led lens they are using.
GMKJ LED is making all the K1 leds in high temperature plastic lens in regular orders.
If you need silicone lens in reel package, we can do that too.
