Connection method of LED lamp beads

First of all, you have to understand that there are two different LED lamp beads (in-line and SMD type) on your picture. When using LED lamp beads, the electrical parameters are required to be consistent. That is, if you want to light them, then, You have to distinguish two ways:

In-line LED

1. Directly plug the LED lamp beads (with two pins) to test with a universal meter. When the two legs are on, please record the positive and negative poles. Generally, the voltage (VF) used by a single LED lamp bead is 3.0~3.4v, Then, first connect the in-line lamp beads in series (the anode and the cathode are arranged in this way), and then choose the voltage of your drive power supply, for example: your drive output voltage (DC) = 12v, then, in every 4 lamp beads Parallel connection (that is, each lamp bead is required to be driven by 3v electricity) to light up the LED lamp bead;

2. Side-emitting SMD LEDs are generally required to be soldered on a circuit board, and the connection method is also the same as the direct plug-in series and parallel relationship to select the line.

Remarks: distinguish the drive current of the LED lamp beads when using, for example: SMD5730 single lamp bead power = 0.5w (3.4v*120mA) single drive voltage is generally about 3v
