Precautions for using 1W 3W high power LED Chip


High-power LED lamp beads are a type of LED lamp beads. Compared with low-power LED lamp beads, high-power LED lamp beads have higher power, brighter brightness and higher prices. The rated current of low-power LED lamp beads is 20mA, and those with a rated current higher than 20mA can basically be regarded as high-power.


As an emerging green, environmentally friendly and energy-saving light source, it is widely used in car lights, flashlights, lamps and other places. The reason why LED high-power is so called is mainly for low-power LEDs. I have summarized three classification standards: One of them can be divided into 0.5W, 1W, 3W, 5W, 10W....100W according to the power size. High-power LED lamp beads should pay attention to the following points:

1. The customer should confirm the positive and negative poles of the high-power led lamp bead before welding the high-power led lamp bead, so as to prevent the high-power led lamp bead from not lighting up or burning out. If the negative electrode is reversed, it is easy to burn the reversed one (the reversed one has a large pressure drop).


2. The reflow soldering temperature zone of high-power LED lamp beads must be greater than 6 temperature zones, that is, the upper 6 temperature zones and the lower 6 temperature zones, and the cooling fan maintains a good working condition. In the early days, it was impossible for some people to use reflow soldering with 3 down and 5 down. There were too few temperature zones and the heating time was too short (in fact, reflow soldering is a process of heating and dehumidification from the low temperature zone to the high temperature solder joint.


3. High-power LED lamp beads are better stored in an environment of 40-60 degrees, pay attention to moisture-proof and prevent moisture absorption. Before reflow soldering, use a 60-degree oven to tear open the outer package to dehumidify for more than 6 hours (bad goods are useless for a long time).


4. Due to the particularity of high-power LED lamp beads, try to deviate slightly to the small side (negative pole, trimmed edge) when welding.


5. The reflow soldering speed of high-power LED lamp beads must be controlled at 300-500 mm/min. Assuming 6 temperature zones, there are lead-tin solder joints at 220 degrees.

7. High-power LED lamp beads are used for color separation BIN, voltage distribution and resistance. When sticking with a chip mounter, pay attention to the use of color separation BIN. Do not put goods of different colors on several Feida at the same time. Posted is flowers.

9. The problem of solvent cleaning of high-power LED lamp beads, preventing alcohol, Tianna water, etc., can easily lead to discoloration of the bottom surface of the lamp, resulting in discoloration of high-power LED lamp beads. White electric oil is recommended.


10. High-power LED lamp beads are used to prevent electrostatic breakdown when using ferrochrome lamps, and high-power LED lamp beads are locally heated unevenly and die. The ferrochrome, workbench, and reflow soldering must be grounded, and the power of ferrochrome is moderate.
