On the 19th, ams OSRAM announced a partnership with ViewSonic, a U.S. visual solutions provider, to jointly explore more possibilities in the field of special LED projectors.
ViewSonic LED projectors for commercial and educational scenarios will use the latest LED technology from ams OSRAM. The Ostar Projection Power LED product line serves as the primary light source, enabling ViewSonic's LS600W WXGA LED projector to achieve a brightness of 3000 ANSI luminescents.
Ams OSRAM products reduce the use of operating currents, require less complexity in LED drivers, and make connections between devices easier than other products with power consumption, which help system designers optimize their products.
According to reports, ams OSRAM improves packaging technology, the LED series can be directly coupled with the heat sink. The mechanical components of the new product line follow the basic framework structure of the previous generation, ensuring that customers can quickly and easily replace products from existing projection systems at a lower cost.
In addition, Ostar Projection Power LEDs are equipped with a DLP imaging system, and ViewSonic projectors make it easy to achieve high brightness, resulting in significant improvements in imaging detail and performance.
At the same time, with the Ostar Projection Power LED light source, the ViewSonic projector does not need to change lights frequently, nor does it need to use toxic mercury, has a life span of up to 30,000 hours, has high color reduction, and meets international standard Rec.709 color standards.
In addition, ams OSRAM released a new quantum dot LED device, Osconiq E 2835, adapted only to 2835 packages, with its own quantum dot phosphor technology with a color temperature of 2200-6500K and an efficiency value of more than 200 lm/W, achieving high efficiency even under high display index (CRI) conditions.
Ams OSRAM says it is the world's first 2835 package device with quantum dot LEDs, and ams OSRAM is the only manufacturer on the market to offer the technology for general lighting. (LEDinside Janice compilation)
