Recently, NEC Lighting launched a UV-sterilizer "HotaluX TOUCH" designed to sterilize touch panels and other surfaces.
It is understood that HotaluX TOUCH uses UVA-LED as the light source, which can be used for surface sterilization of small and medium-sized touch screens, keyboards, armrests, and clothing.
The specific parameters of "Hotalu X TOUCH" are as follows:
1. Has virus removal effect
By re-examining the illumination structure of the light source, maintaining uniform illumination and optimal illumination distance, an effective virus removal effect of about 90% can be achieved within 2 seconds.

2. 365nm is the main germicidal light source
Ultraviolet light and photocatalysis
Using 365 nm ultraviolet rays close to the visible range, the radiation output is 4W, the continuous irradiation time: about 80 minutes (when fully charged and continuous irradiation), the design light source life: 20,000 hours. In addition, since the wavelength of TOUCH easily excites the photocatalyst, the bactericidal effect can be further enhanced by applying the photocatalyst to the irradiated object.
It has been delivered to Japan's Narita International Airport Company for use, and will be sold on December 15, 2021.
